The novaTop QGIS Project continues to create incentives for new OpenStreetMap contributors while also providing recommendations for geospatially-based areal divisions between different locations, based on guessing of divisions between the greatest and least levels of interest in the novaTop identity.
For novaTopFlex, the novaTop QGIS Project will be utilized for analytics and for polls on applicable services throughout the Fediverse, including here on WordPress. When the novaTop QGIS Project can be uploaded to QGIS Cloud again, please welcome any changes to the polygons created, and please ensure that the following estimates remain:
Minimum 2,000 per polygon.
Must contain interest in the novaTop identity somewhere within the polygon.
Cannot cover the entire land area of included counties (applicable only to eastern U.S.)
When recording videos to YouTube, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth features are disabled prior to the beginning of the recording time. The intensification of the setup may vary with the specific video topic(s), but the most intense setups will be set up as follows:
Four VNC Servers, resolution 2048×1152, with TightVNC (5901–5904) and JWM
5901 on upper left with background set to “LightSlateBlue”
5902 on upper right with background set to “LightSlateGrey”
5903 on lower left with background set to “DarkSlateBlue”
5904 on lower right with background set to “DarkSlateGrey”
One VNC Server, resolution 4096×2304, with TigerVNC (5905) and a window manager appropriate for the context
For less intense video topics and video setups, such as videos that follow along with documentation, expect somewhat lower resolutions for the VNC servers. Whenever an alternate desktop environment or window manager is being discussed, expect to activate a single 1920×1080 VNC server with the environment in question.
Within most videos, expect a total of sixteen (16) workspaces on desktop environments and window managers for every desktop incorporated into the system, with the organization structure as follows:

Applications that require Internet connectivity; Offline documentation browsers when Wi-Fi and Bluetooth disabled

Virtual machines with QEMU on the host system and SSH logins with terminal emulator(s) on virtual systems

novaTopFlex continues to advocate for the extended utility of OpenStreetMap, an open-mapping service that pairs well with various setups based on Linux. So far, all portions of Indiana have been covered, except for locales along the northern and the western borders of the state.
