Italian cuisine overall tends to be among my favorite types of food, especially based on the tastes themselves. This type of cuisine remains among my favorites even if not strictly from the original Italian model.

Fond Memories of novaTopFlex
As novaTopFlex transitions to a new stage of life, influenced by factors that shall not be disclosed publicly as they are trivial matters, the community shall continue along with additional elements added into the interest pool. Fond memories and developing interests and passions have continued to develop, and these now span a vast array of different topics and possibilities–all intersecting at a singularity somewhere in the Northeastern United States.
Favorite Places
Within the United States, novaTopFlex prefers Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania over all other states, because these are the states that most perfectly tend to align well with the energy of the community. New Hampshire is deliberately excluded from the messaging, specifically because of “traditional values” that the community may tend toward detesting. For more information about why these states have been identified as ideals to the novaTopFlex community:
- Maine → Not part of the Maritimes because this state is firmly settled as part of New England and the United States (not Canada), the State of Maine contains excellent charm and is perhaps also the only State on the East Coast of the United States where mountains exist directly on–and run into–the ocean. Though not part of Massachusetts since 1820 (when Maine was admitted as the twenty-third [23rd] state into the Union), the State of Maine continues to identify itself as part of the greater region of New England, which also continues to include Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, and New Hampshire to this day.
- Vermont → The novaTopFlex community is known for violating numerous stereotypes and “traditional values” and holds grudges against certain words and categories–often including pronouns–because of overarching connotations of such language that may override the intentions of the community. Therefore, the community must consider the State of Vermont to be a sort of refuge and safe haven–whether through Burlington, Montpelier, Rutland, or any other community–in the face of misinterpretation and other factors.
- Massachusetts → As a polymath community, novaTopFlex must ensure that the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is fairly represented in numerous circles. Interestingly enough, novaTop interests and values may often include historical contexts from numerous parts of the Commonwealth, including the early colonial history closest to the Atlantic Ocean as well as more inland connections in locations such as the Pioneer Valley, where the Commonwealth becomes identified as the birthplace of both volleyball and basketball in particular.
- Rhode Island → Through urbanist activist groups such as Strong Towns, Active Towns, and intersecting movements promoting stronger neighborhoods with greater financial resiliency, Rhode Island offers an unmatched experience for advocacy for true urban renewal, and not the “renewal” that actually causes both gentrification and decay to occur simultaneously.
- Connecticut → As among the most professional states in the entire United States, as well as the state located at the southwestern corner of New England, the State of Connecticut, or the Constitution State, offers an unbeatable experience with intellectual influence similar to much of Massachusetts and even locations throughout neighboring New York to both the south and west (depending on the location, of course). Intellectual influence combines with formality as well as inclusivity to create an experience unmatched by any other state in the union.
- New York → While the vast majority of novaTopFlex interests can be located in the cosmopolitan region with New York City and surrounding regions, the interest pool may also extend into baseball in the Finger Lakes region of what could perhaps be referred to as Central New York: Cooperstown in Otsego County. Additional regions within the State of New York may also be of interest, including both the remainder of Long Island and much of the Hudson Valley as well.
- New Jersey → Similar to the states listed above, New Jersey is home to very similar views on society in the more cosmopolitan regions. While the Garden State is the nation’s most densely populated state, there are also a few areas in the South Jersey region that are quite rural. With more density, but still a rural volume, there is territory in the northwestern portion of the State, particularly in Sussex County. But throughout all twenty-one (21) counties in this Mid-Atlantic state, interests and pursuits may remain fairly within range of the novaTopFlex personalities. Most importantly, however, Montclair offers a WordCamp conference every year.
- Pennsylvania → While every individual person, community, borough, county, city, and the Town of Bloomsburg have special circumstances tailored to their respective backgrounds, contexts, and even histories, the entire Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is of particular interest to the novaTopFlex community, particularly from the perspectives of the eastern and central thirds of the Commonwealth.

Walking, Running, and Business
Unfortunately, in our modern society centered around automobility and sedentary lifestyle habits, as well as the crisis that is capitalism that results in “infinite growth,” a concept that does not exist in reality, we are unfortunately very busy in our modern commitments to arbitrarily increasing our numbers in every possible dimension–profit for the sake of profit. Until very recently, I have been relatively well-known for my extreme levels of mobility with walking, running, and other commitments; these have since become somewhat more choreographed due to additional commitments, goals, and even insecurities.

Leadership Roles
Preamble
novaTopFlex sees the community as the leader of the spirit. I am Andrew Kay, and I am the leader of the Three Identities that come together to create novaTopFlex. Over years of lived experience and now interest in living my most authentic self, away from the societal influences and peer pressures to conform to stereotypical ideals, I am increasingly committed to becoming an ideological leader in the contexts of anarchism, decolonial thought, intersectionality, post-Marxism, degrowth, ecologism, and anti-capitalism overall.
Leadership Today
Yes, novaTopFlex continues to identify as a cultural and spiritual leader, especially in times of overshoot and crisis that cannot be mitigated successfully under our current systems.

The Favorite Word of novaTopFlex
My favorite word is probably “identity” if this question refers to a specific characteristic, quality, and context of such. But if geographic place names also qualify as “words,” then I would say that my favorite word would thus be “Vermont” from here on out.
Why Vermont?
In Vermont, there is a largely known and overtly obvious sense of ethos, obviously influenced by the pathos and logos statewide. I, as novaTopFlex, would not be forbidden from maintaining my strongest friendships in the State of Vermont, because intentions and contexts dominate the scene within the State. Interestingly enough, the State of Vermont also seems to be built over centuries to support anarchism, decolonial thought, intersectional feminism, post-Marxism, degrowth, and ecologism. Unlike most of the remaining United States, Vermont is a state that will openly welcome all identities and expressions and even allow bonding between different individuals to be understood properly and for exactly what they are. Even tourist destinations in the State of Vermont are set up for exactly that type of bonding. Utopian ideals are also respected as friendly and playful and not as nuisances to the social or otherwise stereotypical orders across the entirety of the State of Vermont, unlike neighboring New York, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.

Labor Day 2025
Unfortunately, while Vermont has provably obeyed all of my ideals as a person a d as a part of our greater society, I will unfortunately be leaving tonight as I am not truly a Vermonter. Vermont has been an excellent experience for me—cute, quaint, comfortable, cozy, historical, charismatic, and charming.
