Overview
The Town of Danforth, Maine, is located at the northern end of the border between Washington County, Maine, and the Canadian Province of New Brunswick to the east, while also bordering Aroostook County to the immediate north within the State. Like many communities within the surrounding areas, the population generally hovers around the upper triple digits, and the community is mostly residential and rural with land uses that support the community and a central village area toward the northern town (and county) line.
