Unlike most countries worldwide, Japan is often depicted on Google Maps with unique symbolism, such as three dots representing a culturally and/or historically significant point of interest. Additional symbols unique to Japan include museum symbols as well as nearly all other types of symbols in purple on the map.

Hype for the Future 45H: Ski Resorts and Trails Return
On Google Maps, ski resorts, trails, lifts, and other featured amenities have returned to the official map site. Notable ski resorts, some of which also operate off-season with season-appropriate activities such as live music over the summer in Killington and mere mountain viewing over the summer in Stowe, are perhaps the most obvious of such comebacks from the hiatus by Google.

Color Codes on Google Maps
Of all the interesting skills that I have learned recently, I believe that my digital footprint was perhaps among the easiest of such skills. When identifying points of interest, I have largely considered places based on the color code, often identifying the color purple as the color of numerous attractions, including museum attractions, many of which are not more than moderately pricey and some of which are free of charge with donations encouraged.
