Starting on January 1, 2026, novaTopFlex shall transition focus from preparing for graduation to preparing to graduate and preparing for a long summer wherein the ideology continues to develop across the board. Different goals for the Identity include the following key interests:
- novaTopFlex shall prioritize connections with people from events between May 20, 2026, and August 11, 2026; and throughout June and July 2027; for additional contextual background and information about social circles. Per the novaTop Philosophy, numerous unique quirks may be expected, but always give more caution speaking to the novaTop Identity and other marginalized voices.
- Etiquette preferred by novaTopFlex is the following:
- For ethical reasons, please do not ask to take pictures until at least six questions or ten to fifteen minutes of interaction, whichever comes later. While many may say “no,” the people who say “yes” are the people who tend to be more open to online communication, though as with numerous other situations, this trend may not be guaranteed across the board.
- Additional rules for novaTop social etiquette include strict enforcement of roles based on interest clusters, rather than based on any other characteristic. The three common roles are technical, geocultural, and polymathic, also known as the roles of novaTopFlex, geoTopFlex, and futoTopFlex.
- Even at the most intimate level, always avoid comparisons with others. The novaTopFlex identity is often hostile to class divisions and struggle, so any association with the consequences of classism or other types of segregation should be avoided. While novaTopFlex believes in existing systems in situations where a reasonable safety risk may occur, the novaTop Identities do not believe that segregation systems should exist in antiquated formats, such as to enforce traditional roles and stereotypes.
