Introduction
The City of Brandon represents the second-largest city in the Province of Manitoba and is located at a significant distance from the City of Winnipeg, the capital city of the Province. Brandon University is located in this community, which also contains the Glen P. Sutherland Gallery of Art, the Daly House Museum, the Brandon General Museum and Archives, and the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba and is located relatively along the Assiniboine River in the region. Further north in the area of the community is the Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum, directly attached to the Brandon Municipal Airport.
