Computer Science: Is it really a subject?

Throughout my age and schooling, computer science has often been crowned as my favorite school subject in my mind and worldview. As far as I have known throughout my past years, even all the way back to 2015, I had been on an active and increasing trajectory into technical geekery, though I have had personal experience with technology since effectively the end of 2007.
