Interestingly enough, neither Alaska nor Hawaii have unique nor clearly distinct symbols, nor do the Galรกpagos Islands of Ecuador.
Within the South American realm, the flags in question are of Colombia ๐จ๐ด, Venezuela ๐ป๐ช, Guyana ๐ฌ๐พ, Suriname ๐ธ๐ท, French Guiana ๐ฌ๐ซ, Brazil ๐ง๐ท, Uruguay ๐บ๐พ, Argentina ๐ฆ๐ท, Chile ๐จ๐ฑ, Paraguay ๐ต๐พ, Bolivia ๐ง๐ด, Peru ๐ต๐ช, and Ecuador ๐ช๐จ. For Central America, flags of interest include Mexico ๐ฒ๐ฝ, Belize ๐ง๐ฟ, Guatemala ๐ฌ๐น, Honduras ๐ญ๐ณ, El Salvador ๐ธ๐ป, Nicaragua ๐ณ๐ฎ, Costa Rica ๐จ๐ท, and Panama ๐ต๐ฆ on the mainland, though additional nations and dependencies also exist within the Caribbean region. Bermuda ๐ง๐ฒ is not associated with the Antilles and thus not with the Caribbean region, but Caribbean territories start with the Bahamas ๐ง๐ธ and end with Trinidad and Tobago ๐น๐น. Just past the southern end of the Bahamas ๐ง๐ธ is the Turks and Caicos Islands ๐น๐จ, though on the opposite side of Cuba ๐จ๐บ is the larger Cayman Islands ๐ฐ๐พ. Also within the general area is Jamaica ๐ฏ๐ฒ, with the next notable locations further east being Haiti ๐ญ๐น, the Dominican Republic ๐ฉ๐ด, Puerto Rico ๐ต๐ท, the United States Virgin Islands ๐ป๐ฎ, and the British Virgin Islands ๐ป๐ฌ.
For the Lesser Antilles, nations and dependencies also exist, with most dependencies associated with the colonizers from Europe and the Old World. The entire archipelago is clearly identified as part of the New World, along with much of the rest of the Western Hemisphere. From north to south, the island-nations include Anguilla ๐ฆ๐ฎ, Saint Barthรฉlemy ๐ง๐ฑ, Antigua and Barbuda ๐ฆ๐ฌ, Montserrat ๐ฒ๐ธ, Guadeloupe ๐ฌ๐ต, Dominica ๐ฉ๐ฒ, Martinique ๐ฒ๐ถ, Saint Lucia ๐ฑ๐จ, Barbados ๐ง๐ง, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines ๐ป๐จ, Grenada ๐ฌ๐ฉ, and Trinidad and Tobago ๐น๐น. At the southern end of the Lesser Antilles is the South American mainland, nearing the Guyanese portion of Venezuela ๐ป๐ช.
