Introduction
Located at the northwest corner of both Berkshire County and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at large, the Town of Williamstown is most commonly associated with the site of Williams College. However, the Town of Williamstown also contains a significant creative and liberal arts culture outside of the scope of the college with the general population also notable for fine arts, crafts, galleries, and genuine folk music associated with life in the region.
Notable Amenities
While Williams College hosts the Williams College Museum of Art directly on campus, the other notable amenities on the college campus include the Greylock Gallery, the Clark Art Institute, and the Williams Inn. Though not in the central village area of the Town, the Williamstown Historical Museum is also identifiable within the region, at the junction of Routes 7 and 43.
