Humanoid Robots Join Border Patrol: A Surreal Technological Shift
Unfortunately, though humanoid robots may be a net positive for international border crossing areas, the robots may actually become more biased because of the development by humans, and humans are already excessively biased by social constructs such as race, “gender” (as socially constructed as opposed to biological sex), and related features of segregation. By allowing neutral robots to ensure border security, however, the border crossing features may be improved, though perhaps the worst part of the international border is, at least with regards to the United States-Canada border, the portions of border crossings east of Derby Line-Stanstead, Vermont-Québec, and west of the tripoint of Maine, Québec, and New Brunswick.
