Preamble

Society cannot function if common sense claims that meeting new people is “optional” or even discouraged. Within societies that claim friendships as a luxury or a consolation prize for a loss of coupledom, the resulting behaviors are quite unethical, and in a society where meeting people is privatized, organizing to topple the unethical systems becomes increasingly impossible.

Society often teaches people that meeting people is optional, but why? Is it possible that meeting people is a necessarily common good for public service and can, ironically, provide greater safety?

How to Safely Ally for Anti-Capitalists

For instance, allies can expect to receive safety replacing words such as “anarchism” with “modern economic needs,” “updated economic policies,” or even a phrase as simple as “community care,” which, despite the name, is very different from the connotations of “communism.”
