Overview
The island of Deer Isle in the State of Maine is home to the Towns of Deer Isle in the north and Stonington in the south. The Pilgrim’s Inn is located opposite the Deer Isle Artists Association, while the Carolyn Walton Gallery is located further north. The Mountainville area is home to the Deer Isle Hostel, to the southeast of the primary town. Further south is the Town of Stonington, which contains the Pres du Port Bed and Breakfast, the Deer Isle Granite Museum, the Inn on the Harbor, and the Jill Hoy Art Gallery within the central village area.
