Hype for the Future 74G: Imagining a Post-Gender Society

Overview

novaTopFlex continues to lead the movement in researching different countries and regions that may provide insights into life either beyond heteronormativity or entirely lacking the constraints created in modern society by heteronormative expectations. Such features of the movement may include, but are often not limited to, identifying countries and regions across the globe with the most progressive policies regarding gender, mitigating issues regarding misogyny and, in rare cases, misandry. The most significant of the nations to provide insights into a post-gender society are the independent nations of Denmark 🇩🇰, Norway 🇳🇴, Sweden 🇸🇪, and Iceland 🇮🇸, with select communities in Finland 🇫🇮 also possibly providing insights. Within the United States, the New England states often pose as the most inclusive, and within Canada, the Maritimes pose very similarly as well. Australia and New Zealand, however, are quite different circumstantially, with each individual region providing an independent perspective on modern society, with Western Australia less of a settlement of convicts and New Zealand more of a settlement derived from Australia.

Hype for the Future 22A: The Longest Lake in North America

Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg is located entirely within the Town of Webster, Worcester County, Massachusetts, immediately to the north of the Connecticut line and nearby to the Rhode Island line as well. The folk translation is a definite allegory for social roles and for hierarchical norms, especially regarding the unfortunate realities of racism, sexism, classism, ableism, and additional forms of discrimination: “I fish on my side, you fish on your side, nobody fishes in the middle.” However, the more accurate translation regarding the middle of the lake is a translation that is not distorted by capitalism or other concerns.

Within the Commonwealth of Virginia, even in spite of guilty historical ideas such as slavery and plantation culture, the region continues to maintain a presence and status as the origin story of the United States of America. Numerous plantations, particularly within the Northern Neck and along the north side of the James River, are largely identified by numerous historical figures such as the Washington, Custis, Lee, Tayloe, Madison, and Monroe families. Further inland is the Jefferson family plantation culture, for where Monticello becomes the pinnacle of Jeffersonian society.

novaTopFlex has identified numerous beliefs in social roles that exist in order to prioritize forward thought over backward roles. Numerous roles exist beyond traditional values, including values that have been inherited from Yankeedom in particular. Notable places of interest to locate novaTopFlex beliefs in social roles include Salem (for the Witch Trials of 1692), the Berkshires (for the birthplace of Susan B. Anthony and the Mass MoCA nearby), Seneca Falls (for reasons associated with equality under the law), Alfred (for ceramics in the surrounding area), and Columbus (because of the vibrant arts scene and community in the surrounding area, particularly at KEMBA Live! concerts, the State Fair in the summer, and the Quarter Horse Congress in the fall.
