Introduction

Though Iceland has largely maintained a relatively plural culture for over a millennium, the term “heteronormativity” as utilized in the modern day has not existed as of yet. However, the Icelandic culture has largely avoided romantic and sexual centralization as with many European cultures elsewhere.

History

Much of what is today Iceland is largely determined by the Viking settlers, largely associated with a region that has traditionally spanned the island, the Faroe Islands, and much of Norway at the very beginning. With Iceland as an isolated area, many of the folk songs associated with the isolated nation have developed relatively conservatively, including bypassing the heteronormative societal expectations that have largely occurred elsewhere.

Overview

novaTopFlex continues to lead the movement in researching different countries and regions that may provide insights into life either beyond heteronormativity or entirely lacking the constraints created in modern society by heteronormative expectations. Such features of the movement may include, but are often not limited to, identifying countries and regions across the globe with the most progressive policies regarding gender, mitigating issues regarding misogyny and, in rare cases, misandry. The most significant of the nations to provide insights into a post-gender society are the independent nations of Denmark 🇩🇰, Norway 🇳🇴, Sweden 🇸🇪, and Iceland 🇮🇸, with select communities in Finland 🇫🇮 also possibly providing insights. Within the United States, the New England states often pose as the most inclusive, and within Canada, the Maritimes pose very similarly as well. Australia and New Zealand, however, are quite different circumstantially, with each individual region providing an independent perspective on modern society, with Western Australia less of a settlement of convicts and New Zealand more of a settlement derived from Australia.

Modern Issues

Unfortunately, capitalism is a crisis, resulting in privatization, the race to the bottom, profit maximization, and forced extraction, also all of which are crises. With each and every crisis comes the crisis of marketing, since marketing often demands on the end goal of a monopoly, very similar to the idea that monogamy is somehow “natural” for everyone. Unfortunately, racism, sexism, classism, ableism, and other discriminatory practices are just natural results of this issue, particularly with the economic system that incentivizes a monoculture to effectively worsen life conditions for all but the uppermost class.

Economic Crisis

The idea of “inflation” should be rethought of as a pay cut, since punishing restrictions are increasingly consequences of the capitalist system. By allowing governments more control over pricing and related capitalist issues, the obvious next issue would specifically refer to the restrictions and discriminatory practices and policies.

Networking

novaTopFlex shall restrict social networking to appropriately structured and organized spontaneous interactions, as such interactions are natural and can assist with ending the loneliness epidemic as well as common beliefs such as friendship as a consolation prize. In order to ensure maximum social throughput, every input must matter, so that every output can matter as a result. By focusing all attention on festivals and events, especially with the obvious true safety protocols (not the heteronormative protocols, of course), novaTopFlex shall maximize the social network that is necessary for the promotion of the channels, inputs, and outputs—all through networking.

Preamble

novaTopFlex maintains political influences that often conflict with the dominant narrative of heteronormativity. Unfortunately, significant attacks on the novaTop Identities are often a direct result of heteronormativity, so the best approach is to simply use captions under images and videos that may be most judged. Fear of judgment has been a particular fear at more formal social events, including the more formal dances, as well as more prestigious institutions with a performative display culture.

Official Policy

novaTopFlex shall avoid all types of labels and the performance of such labels, since the societal drama is often related to associated labels in numerous situations. Rather than using labels for people, names should be given out in genuine form, but only when public display of real names is within the social comfort zone. Otherwise, the plain term “network” shall be preferred, with “community” a close second as to what should be preferred.

Signals of heteronormativity are often identified in pictures and videos alike. However, not everything needs to be interpreted from a heteronormative angle. For such people, novaTop photos and videos may provide uncanny feelings for all sorts of people and communities across the board.

The Political Changes of novaTopFlex

My political views overall have changed over time, from enforced heteronormativity and the default gender dynamics and obedience to traditional gender roles to creativity and experimentation while ensuring a more genuine and authentic experience with my personality type and personality traits. Even though I have been scorned for having friends of the opposite sex in my formative years for obvious biological and historical reasons, I have often identified myself having easier communication with such friends and even felt safer in such contexts and situations. Apart from my views on heteronormativity and traditional gender roles, I am no longer the person who sees difference as an issue, and neurodivergence has played a large role in swaying my political views very dramatically from the very beginning.

Peer Pressure is a Capitalist Construct

The idea that all individuals must eventually find someone at all is a capitalist construct that literally underscores the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in society. Even in cases where additional freedom is permitted, the idea that singlehood is somehow “taboo” is more or less also a capitalist construct. Again, because “traditional values” are inherently social constructs, while human diversity is extremely important for societal acceptance, development, progress, and advancement.
