Within the State of New York and the Hudson Valley specifically is the community of Hyde Park. Located in Dutchess County, Hyde Park is a community most renowned for the Roosevelt historical sites, including sites relevant to the Roosevelt family at large. Apart from the Roosevelt sites of Hyde Park, north of Poughkeepsie, in Dutchess County, is an art collection as well as access to the Hudson River, of which Hyde Park is on the east bank.

Located in northern Dutchess County, north of Poughkeepsie, is the community of Hyde Park, largely renowned for Roosevelt historic sites specifically. While Hyde Park tends to be overlooked in the modern day, the community is actually associated with the historic sites of the Vanderbilt Mansion site within the inner community. However, the Roosevelt sites are associated with the south and southeast sides of the outer community.
