Making New Friends and Meeting New People

I am often the most happy when I learn about new interests I may have, and especially if I can maintain these interests long term. If I can attend major events throughout the year, as well as more recurring events that are out of the ordinary daily grind, even if weekly events, I can hopefully improve my odds of meeting new people naturally. Unfortunately, however, such ideals have often been unmet, remaining inconclusive throughout the journey.

Favorite Month of the Year: July (not August!)

My favorite month of the year has always been, and will always be, July. While I have never actually spent significant time with friends, I aspire to use the month of July to network with new people in the future now that my next July is my first July as an independent person. While I may use July to mourn about the past in certain cases, i am normally more excited for what happens in the month of July. With family, July has represented vacation month for me, including a grand trip that had covered Cleveland, Niagara Falls, Cooperstown, Salem, and Hershey in 2023, as well as trips to upper Michigan and the Bay Area in California in 2024 and, most recently, to lower Michigan along Lake Michigan in 2025.
