The Maine Lobster Festival is typically attached to the very end of July and the very beginning of August each year in Rockland, the county seat of Knox County, Maine. Located along United States Route 1, the lobster festival is a quintessential part of the New England Yankee experience and especially the maritime experience specific to Maine.
