Conclusion

Of the four (4) cities presented to the community by novaTopFlex (Northampton, Springfield, Hartford, New Haven), the City of Hartford, Connecticut, would ultimately be the most selected. Though only three (3) people have voted on the poll, which has not gone viral on Mastodon as of yet, the poll remains vital to identifying how to divide and conquer special interests. Of the three people, two (2) have voted on Hartford, and one (1) has voted on Springfield, just over the line into Massachusetts. Interestingly, zero (0) have voted for the City of New Haven, though the city may be more populated than Hartford in the interior region of the State. Perhaps the distinction is related to the City of Hartford being the capital city of the State of Connecticut?

The Philosophical Debates (Kay-Kingsbury Edition)

Andrew Kay (novaTopFlex) is currently in multiple ongoing philosophical arguments involving Alexander Kingsbury, Mojo, and MrLee on Mastodon, all under a common core of shared beliefs for—or against—capitalism. While novaTopFlex fears infinite growth and the criminalization of genuine friendship and authenticity as well as forced conformity to traditional roles in society, Kingsbury claims that capitalism contains no demands for infinite growth nor for related concerns. In addition, Mojo and MrLee have identified common concerns regarding the erosion of community and empathy in a society that prides wealth accumulation as “success.”

Fediverse Scam Warning

There have been numerous recent reports of an influx in scammers on Mastodon, often performing direct messages onto victims with illegitimate URLs. And URLs are not normally associated with the culture of Mastodon issues. While I have not been impacted by the recent Mastodon scams, I know of a few people whom either are or have known people in the industry and across the board whom have potentially been victimized by the scammers of Mastodon. Mastodon will never ask for verification of users in direct messages.

Topic and Channel Outlook

• Facebook/Instagram/Threads: Only geoTopFlex content
• GitHub: New content is unlikely as nTF temporarily switches focus onto content creation.
• YouTube: Python, PEPs, and RFCs are expected to dominate the conversation.
• Mastodon: Expect Linux and open-source to dominate the conversation, though specific interests will be detoured onto Linux.social. I have received a BAN on Linux.chat for appearing as a bot and not as a real person, and I am currently working on the process to relieve myself, if you can comment with ideas on how best to paste 10,000+ lines of code without committing spam.
• InfoSec Family: Cybersecurity will continue to dominate the conversation with novaTopFlex. Most times I am not actively streaming and/or recording onto my main YouTube channels specifically, not even accounting the possible use of PeerTube in the Fediverse, I will expect to be busy with TryHackMe and cybersecurity competition practice. This includes Mastodon, Lemmy, and WriteFreely services from InfoSec.
• Linux family: Unfortunately,I am currently unable to participate in the live chat as I am associated with bots. I can—and will—continue to cite Linux sources as necessary on other platforms on the Linux family.
• Programming.dev: This Lemmy instance should be utilized as a documentation showcase for C, C++, and other related resources. Compiled languages take precedent over interpreted languages at all times on this instance.
• PeerTube (TILvids): Expect my first videos ever to be published on this platform to be introduced soon.
• Misskey: Less frequently to be utilized for service, but if necessary, this service may be utilized to supplement Mastodon.
• Pleroma (annihilation.social): New screenshots are anticipated soon, with a predominant mindset of focusing on interfaces.

I, with my three separate yet interrelated identities of interest, am always passionate about my frequent uses of different services, including Microsoft’s GroupMe; Meta’s Facebook, Instagram, and Threads; Discord; Linktree; and even Fediverse services including three (soon to be possibly four) Mastodon instances, three Lemmy instances, PeerTube (TILvids), Misskey, Pleroma (annihilation.social), WriteFreely, and this subdomain on WordPress.com.
