Rockwood is an unincorporated area located in northern Somerset County, Maine, most notable as the gateway to Moosehead Lake and the North Country of the State. Located along Route 6, the community provides access to the Rockwood Bar and Grill and numerous places to stay, particularly cottages, located along Moosehead Lake with limited services including minimal expectation for cell service.
