Invent a holiday! Explain how and why everyone should celebrate.
Hello! While I refer to myself as novaTopFlex online, I am officially Andrew Kay, as you may know by my presence on other social media sites, including sites on the Fediverse, as well as on YouTube, GitHub, GitLab, and elsewhere. If you ever were to receive emails from me, I would likely respond with “Sincerely, Andrew Kay (novaTopFlex),” with my name first and my pseudonym in parentheses immediately after. To celebrate my place in the online and tech-savvy communities alike, I would like to upgrade my birthday, August 11, to holiday status, which is already a fairly natural date to become an excellent holiday time because the date often represents what may be considered “the sweetest end to [the] summer” to some people, particularly youth, even though the autumnal equinox is over a month after.
