Overview
The only village in Wayne Township, Darke County, Versailles represents the northeastern portion of the county in west-central Ohio, within relative proximity to—albeit distantly related to—the City of Dayton, far beyond the urban, suburban, and even exurban communities of the area. While not much in terms of tourist attractions exists within such a small village, Versailles is home to the Hotel Versailles within the downtown area.
