Overview
Both located on the southern side of Iceland, the communities of Vík (west) and Höfn (east) each represent distinct stories on Icelandic culture, heritage, and settlement, while also containing many of the tourist features and amenities associated with the entire island, at least for the mainstream. Smaller facilities may be utilized as places to stay elsewhere, such as in the northwestern portion of the island nation containing the Museum of Icelandic Sorcery and Witchcraft.
